The name “Roamalion” is a portmonteau of “roaming” and “pygmalion.” The first part is a tribute to freedom and fernweh; the open road, land, and sea. The second part pays homage to the idea that a work of art can lead its own life independent of the artist. Fragrance not only exists in your environment, but also makes a home in your mind, binding itself to memories, emotions, and who you are as a human being. It lives with you and your adventures as part of you; part of your moment.
The first Roamalion perfume is currently in production. I deeply believe that fragrance is something that should never be rushed, and thus am reticent to offer an exact release date. This is because I am committed to bringing something of originality and quality to the fragrance-scape, and meanwhile believe it is worthwhile to begin connecting with people and laying the foundation of a community. Starting an email list also helps me figure out how much concentrate to make for the primary batch. Sign up to receive updates so you will be the first to know when this happens.
Your first email from me will be sent immediately and will include a playlist, as well as some background on the name Roamalion and what it means to me in the context of perfumery.
